Weight Loss Wednesdays…

Or maybe that should be Weigh in Wednesdays.

I’m on a quest to lose weight and get healthy again.  I’m going to have to go it alone yet I do so much better with accountability.  So I thought that I would post my successes (and ok, maybe failures but I’m trying not to think like that ;0) as a means of having some accountability.  I will only post whether I lost or <ahem> gained weight and how many pounds.  I am not going to post my weight.  Maybe once I lose a lot I will but for now I just can’t do it. 

So here are my goals for this healthier me:

1.  To completely cut out Coca-Cola.  (yikes!)

2. To lose 50 pounds.

3.  To exercise at least 3 – 5 times a week.  This includes weight bearing exercise and cardio. 

4. To eliminate white flour and sugar from my diet.

Ok, that’s my starting point.  If I make too many goals right now, I will get overwhelmed so I’m keeping it simple.  I will post every Wednesday and let you know how I’m doing!

  1. That's your STARTING POINT??????????? That's like a lifetime of goals in just number 1 and number 4. Good luck!

  2. I know...somewhat lofty goals. But I still could have put more. Like on #4, I could also eliminate white rice but we are some white rice eating people! And the 50 pounds is not all I want to lose...just realistically what is possible. Actually, it may be more like 30 - 35 but 50 sounds better! ;0) I pretty much had #1 and #3 going along well... until I got sick and homeschool started up again! But even though I have these big goals, I'm trying to work on them in baby steps. If that makes any sense from my cold induced lack of clarity.
